This week was my first experience at a “Pay As You Can” cafe model, and after a coffee meeting yesterday I knew I had to come back. It is run almost entirely by volunteers and patrons can pay the suggested meal price (very affordable) and give a tip that goes directly toward a meal for someone without means (you can even pay forward a token for someone’s entire lunch). Today I ordered their roasted vegetable quinoa salad and sourdough avocado toast, which tasted as good as it looks🔥A definite recommendation for anyone traveling to #raleigh Very coincidental Valentine’s post to celebrate Dan’s final student loan payment today: $91,000 in three years and three months! I still don’t know how you did that but I am so proud and very ready to say goodbye to “the third member of our relationship😂.” Time to spend all of the extra money you’ll have now 😉💕📸: Thank you @listlesslimerence Good morning IG👋🏻I have been taking some time off of posting and honestly it feels nice to take a break from the constant check-in. My favorite Avocado Toast 🥑🍞has ALL the toppings: nutritional yeast, Everything But The Bagel, red pepper flakes, Old Bay, and tahini💕 Pro tip: unsweetened ww cinnamon raisin bread takes this over the TOP🤤Also great on sourdough! #breakfast Surplus of 🍊🍊=Orange Coconut Creme Pie! This three-ingredient filling can be totally customized to what you’re in the mood for, and there is no baking required. Vegan/GF recipe coming this week to garlic-head.com 🥧 Updating some old photos and decided to remake this Roasted Red Pepper Romesco Soup🍅🌶Almonds and smashed chickpeas add some delicious texture while roasting the red pepper and garlic add delicious warmth.
