Woven Fresh Pear Tart


This Woven Fresh Pear Tart is a show-stopping vegan dessert Thinly sliced fruit sits atop a simple fig jam & a buttery, flaky crust. This customizable recipe is as beautiful as it is delicious!


– 1 pie crust, prepared  – 4 firm pears (1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow, and 1 brown) – 1/3 cup fig preserves, or apple butter – Splash of nondairy milk (optional)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and unroll your pie crust inside pie plate.

Step 2

Bake crust for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown. Slice all pears into 1 mm pieces.

Step 3

Mix fig preserves with a splash of milk (or water) to thin. Spread on top of cooled crust.

Step 4

Take 7 slices of pear. Keeping them together, slowly pinch out into a long line. Place in the center of the tart. Repeat with remaining pear colors.
