Baked Apple Cider Donuts

VEGAN RECIPE WITH GLUTEN-FREE OPTION

These Vegan Baked Apple Cider Donuts are the perfect celebration of fall! Coated in cinnamon sugar, they are a great pairing with coffee. They’re easily made into bars and muffins as well!

Ingredients

For base: 1 cup flour 1/2 TBS baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup apple cider 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup neutral oil  1 tsp vanilla  For  topping: 4 TBS vegan butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat over to 350 F & oil pan. Combine flour, baking powder, spices, & salt. In another bowl, mix apple cider, brown sugar, oil, and vanilla.

Slowly mix dry ingredients into wet. Spoon batter into donut pan. Bake for 13-16 minutes, until donuts are springy. Let cool.

Melt butter in a small bowl. In another bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Place each cooled donut facedown in the butter then  swirl in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
