This Sparkling Rosé French 75 Cocktail Recipe is colorful and easy to make! A twist on a traditional drink recipe, this replaces champagne with sparkling pink wine for a light and pretty beverage with minimal ingredients.
Begin by making simple syrup. Heat sugar and water in a small sauce pan on the stove until sugar is dissolved, stirring to prevent burning. This will only take a few minutes. Remove from heat and carefully pour into heatproof container. Reserve remaining simple syrup for future cocktails (it will keep in the fridge for a month).
Add ice to a shaker or large, sealable jar. Pour 1 oz simple syrup into shaker and top with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Finally, add gin and shake until chilled, about 30 seconds.
Decant in even amounts into two champagne flutes. Top with sparkling rosé wine. Garnish the glasses with a twisted lemon peel if desired and enjoy immediately.
