Who is Garlic Head for?
The audience for Garlic Head includes people looking to introduce fun back into their cooking routine. This is a place free of judgement or labels.
The kitchen is my "happy place" and I love being able to share my creations with others. Plant-based food can be delicious! I started this blog because I am passionate about this fact, and I know that of any singular human activity, how we eat has the largest impact on our planet's wellbeing.
What if I'm not vegan?
Garlic Head recipes are all plant-based, but designed with flexibility in mind. I always provide as many substitution options as possible, along with suggestions for people who do not share my personal dietary preferences. Even if you are a devout carnivore, I guarantee there is something here for you!
Small acts of change can move the needle, and I believe wholeheartedly that a diet rich in plants can make you feel your very best.
What is your favorite recipe?
The name of this blog references, unsurprisingly, my love of garlic. If you are not as much of a fan, never fear. I post both sweet and savory recipes, and (more importantly), a lot of desserts! My current favorite recipe is this coffee tahini smoothie.
Along with writing this website, I love going on hikes with my husband and two puppies across Southern California, reading, movement, FaceTiming with my family, buying new plants, and visiting the grocery store (are these last two considered hobbies?).
I hope you love making these recipes just as much as I enjoy creating them for you.
