When is the Super Bowl this year?
This 2022 Super Bowl will be hosted in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on February 13th. It will feature the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams.
I honestly couldn’t care less about the game (sorry to anyone who is a huge fan!) but always enjoy watching the commercials and eating a spread of great food with family and friends.
Tips for Hosting (or Attending) a Great Super Bowl Party
Whether or not you enjoy watching football, everyone can agree that Super Bowl snacks are some of the best parts of any viewing party. This year, COVID may be restricting the size of your gathering. Not to worry, you can still have a great time even with a small crowd. Keep in mind that finger foods tend to work best during an afternoon party. Think of recipes that do not require a lot of maintenance or oven time. These will ensure you have plenty of time to just enjoy the game (or the commercials) with your guests. If you are visiting someone’s house, my top recommendation would be the 3-Ingredient Queso Dip. It works perfectly with chips or chopped vegetables.
If you are not familiar with the most traditional spread, let’s dive into it!
What are the most common Super Bowl Foods?
Typically, a Super Bowl-inspired spread is full of fried foods, chips, fries, dips, wings, and lots of ranch dressing. Traditionally, it is not at all vegan. However, with some simple tweaks we are able to preserve these traditional flavors and transform them into plant-based goodness everyone can enjoy.
