I keep reading that people are drinking more and more during quarantine. I suppose this makes sense? Things are much more stressful for many of us, and with limited options for outside-the-home activities a nice glass of wine can be something to look forward to. As long as we keep these drinks moderate, I see nothing wrong with them!

While I don’t make margaritas that often, I do know they are one of the most easily associated “party” drinks. Commonly sipped outside on a hot summer day (or with a taco in hand), they’re refreshing, simple to create, and just plain FUN. I also love how easily customizable they are, and they ever taste delicious without the addition of alcohol.

How to Make a Margarita

The standard marg recipe combines equal parts lime juice and simple syrup (cooked sugar +water) with 2 parts tequila. It’s served with a lime wedge and often with salt on the rim of the glass.

I’m happy to say this formula is incredibly flexible. Below, we’re showing the BEST margarita recipes, with practically endless adjustments. A fan of ginger + rhubarb? Tart options are listed! Looking for something spicy and fruit? Be sure to read on. I can’t wait to hear which you are going to try first. Be sure to let me know in the comments or on Instagram
